About Us…
Our tasting room is open now in beautiful downtown Templeton. Try our award winning wines with customized pairings. Clavo Cellars is a small boutique winery that specializes in wines that express the fruit of the vineyard. Clavo wines are made with a softness that is easy on the palate and pair well with a variety of food dishes.
“Clavo wines literally begin in the vineyard, where I have made my living as a winegrower for more than 20 years, and where I acquired the nickname “Clavo”, which is Spanish for “nail”.
My wines are not so much made as they are grown, with the utmost attention to detail and a deep respect for what nature alone can yield. In the end, my mission is to offer you a pure taste of the vineyard with an emphasis on quality and approachability. I hope you will agree that I’ve hit the nail on the head.”
